Strawberries are the quintessential fruit of summer with strawberry shortcake being a dessert favorite. Why not make a Strawberry Shortcake drink!? If you are a big fan of sweet, dessert drinks, this one is made for you. Mixed up with Cake Vodka, Strawberry Syrup, rumchata and fresh lemon juice - this one is a summer treat! For Strawberry Syrup: 6 oz sliced strawberry, ¼ cup powdered sugar. Let sit in the fridge for about an hour. Use syrup for cocktails, use left over strawberries and syrup for strawberry shortcake.

Ingredients: 

1 oz strawberry syrup

2 oz cake vodka

1 oz rumchata

½oz lemon juice

Directions: 

1. Fill wine glass or rocks glass with ice and strawberries from strawberry syrup 

2. Add all ingredients to a shaker 

3. Shake with ice for 20-30 seconds

4. Strain into glass

5. Sip & Enjoy!
