VT Summer Spice
As you know, we love escaping to Vermont for some R&R in both the summer and winter. This drink is an ode to a few simple and fresh ingredients, much like you find in many spots and farm to table restaurants in Vermont. Featuring local Vermont Maple Syrup, with fresh jalapeño. We hope you enjoy this delightful drink, maybe on a day where you need to slow down a bit! ✨
Tips and Trixx:
Muddle gently jalapeño first to extract the juices. Then very lightly muddle the basil so you don’t bruise and bring out the bitterness.
Lower the spice level by leaving out the seeds and pith of the jalapeños.
For an even milder spice try just one slice, mix it up an taste it. If you want more spice shake again with a few more slices.
Ingredients:
2 oz Tequila
1 oz lime
¾ maple syrup
4-6oz Club Soda
2 bunches Fresh Basil
2-3 fresh Jalepeño slices
Directions:
1. Muddle Jalepeño & Basil with a muddler until you’ve gotten some of the juice and essence exposed
2. Add tequila, lime juice and maple syrup
3. Add Ice
4. Stir to combine
5. Top with Club Soda
6. Garnish with Basil Bunch
7. Sip & Enjoy!
