Cosmo
There’s nothing more iconic in the last 20 years than the Cosmopolitan. Perceived as a modern cocktail, the drink actually dates back to the early 1900s’ and was first published in Pioneers of Mixing at Elite Bars 1903–1933, published in 1934 as the “Cosmopolitan Daisy.” The original recipe was made with Gordon’s Gin, Cointreau, Lemon juice and homemade raspberry syrup.
Many recipes call for Triple Sec, but we really prefer Cointreau as we think it blends better with the cranberry and lime juice.
The keys to making a great Cosmo are the ratios and quality of ingredients (Premium Vodka, and fresh squeezed lime juice).
