Cinco de Margarita
We’ve created our twist on a delicious spicy margarita with vegetal notes for your #CincoDeMayo celebration in a mocktail form in case you would like to celebrate soberly! Cinco de Mayo is a celebration across Mexico celebrating the victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 which was a huge boost for the Mexicans. Of course, if you want to make it a cocktail, just add in some @casamigos or your favorite tequila! Celebrate the day with our version of the margarita made with fresh jalapeño, cilantro, celery juice, lime juice, and agave. We love how fresh this tastes and please let us know how you like it!✨
Tips and Trixx:
To make celery juice simply add chopped celery to a blender, blend until smooth, and strain through a fine mesh sieve.
Adjust the spicy level by adding more or less jalapeños. Removing the seeds and pith also reduce the heat level.
Have some fun with the garnish and rim. Adding lime zest to the salt before coating the rim adds color and flavor. Try garnishing with a bouquet of celery and cilantro to bring out the fragrance of the cocktail.
