Cherry Blossom
Just in time for spring this cocktail marries sweet and floral to make for a delicious kick off to the season. It is a welcoming sign when spring is in full bloom and the winter is behind us, so this cocktail is inspired by the cherry blossom trees blooming across the globe in spring time.
Tips and Trixx:
We use a rose water that is concentrated so just a dash works great. Other rose watered may be concentrated a different level, so start with a dash, mix it up and give it a taste before straining. You can always add more if you’d like.
Ingredients:
2oz Gin
1 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 barspoon of Rose water
1 Dark Cherry with some juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake for 20 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe.
Garnish with a rose petal or fresh cherry.
