Apple Cider Margarita
As the leaves change color, and the temperatures get cooler, it feels like time for drinks with crisp and warming flavors. We also like to reminisce about warmer days and summertime fun. The Apple Cider Margarita is just that. It takes the crisp, fall apple cider flavor and combines it with a classic warm weather drink - the margarita. We were inspired to make this one as we often look for fall flavors that are not necessarily pumpkin (as neither of us really are fans of pumpkin spice…). Give this one a try, we are sure it will be a fall favorite.
Ingredients:
2 oz Tequila
2 oz Apple Cider
1 oz Cointreau
3/4 oz Lime Juice
Ice
Cinnamon Sugar & Lime for Rim
Directions:
Pour Tequila, Apple Cider, Cointreau and Lime juice into cocktail shaker over ice. Add more Ice if needed.
If desired, use a lime wedge to rub around the rim of a rocks glass.
Then take rocks glass and dip edge into cinnamon sugar on a small plate to create a cinnamon sugar rim. (Or you could do salt if you prefer).
Shake Cocktail Shaker for about 20 seconds to combine ingredients.
Pour contents of cocktail shaker into rocks glass over ice
Sip and Enjoy!
